Tasting note:

Vintages Wine Panel: Pure, with an excellent core of raspberry and boysenberry fruit riding atop racy, graphite and iron notes. Unfined and unfiltered. My note: A rich, round, full-bodied red with attractive notes of coffee, blackberry, mocha and tobacco. The grapes for this wine were gently basket pressed and spent 22 months in French oak. It has a lovely, long finish. Food matches: peppercorn steak, ratatouille, cassoulet, fruit chutney, ostrich.

Not a very robust wine but rather an elegant wine.The finish is long and spicy. I had this wine duck spring rolls and the combo worked well.
