The concept behind Stanza Wines is that each varietal will stand as a verse within the poem that is the overall work of the winery. They may exercise some poetic license in their marketing, but you can’t argue with the results. With its rich and layered aromas of chocolate, cherry, plum and smoke, you will be very eager to “read on.” Dry and full bodied with big soft dark fruit, great depth, a juicy mid-palate, and moderate well-integrated tannins.
