Tasting note:

A terrific price for this Italian beauty. A kiss of sun-ripened cherry fruit wrapped in a smoky, dried herb blanket. Mouth-watering acidity makes it especially food friendly. This wine will have you sitting in a sunny piazza, enjoying the afternoon calm. This wine is a blend of 50% Sangiovese, 30% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. Food matches: hard cheeses, cold meats, roasted turkey with gravy, ostrich, roast veal, baked eggplant.
