Note: I publish batches of reviews that I call Good Values Wine Picks. These are from the regular section of the liquor store rather than the Vintages section, and tend to be lower priced and the most widely available of all wines. The last four reviews I did were: March 7, January 4, December 16 and November 20.

Tasting note:

A tasty blend of 56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 37.5% Cabernet Franc, 6.6% Merlot grapes. Medium- to full-bodied with blackberry notes. Smooth with toasty oak.

Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
Mark Britton rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

I found this to be a black cherry bomb on both the nose and the palate with slight hints of vanilla... but only slight. I also found the wine to be overly sour which lingered into a decently long finish. To me this is a food wine, not a sipping wine, but likely wouldn't make my top recommendations list.
