Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
 | Mezcal is made throughout Mexico, unlike Tequila which is confined to a specific area around the same-named city in the state of Guadalajara. While both are made from the agave plant, Tequila uses the blue agave and Mezcal the agave also known as maguey (pronounced muh-GAY). Mezcal has a distinct smoky flavour – enriched here by several months in oak – and is traditionally enjoyed straight. Source: Vintages Wine Panel |
