Tasting note:

Vintages Wine Panel: This wine is sourced from truly old vines as this vineyard was planted 113 years ago. The yields are naturally very low, creating wines with aromas of blackberry, sour cherry, ripe plum and a plethora of spice tones. Ripe fruit surrounded by bright acidity and fine tannins lead to a remarkably elegant, yet full-bodied wine. My note: I have a special place in my heart (and liver) for this winery, having written about it in my book. This is a gorgeous wine: concentrated, delicious and packed with black fruit. Food matches: braised ribs.
