Tasting note:

Elegant, distinguished and full-bodied. Classic aromas of blackcurrant and cassis. Very dry and long on the finish. Perfect dinner party wine.

Dark red color, on the nose black berries, black currant, cedar, oak. On the palate- dry, full bodied, nice balance with tannins and acidity.
Cherries, vanilla, smoke, mint. Long peppery finish.
Great now, can age for a while.
When I tasted Sequoia Grove’s 2007, I was impressed. It’s rich and ripe but not heavy, more balanced and fresh than many of its higher priced peers ... it’s drinking beautifully. Source: Jay McInerney, jaymcinerney.com
