Tasting note:

Vintages Wine Panel: Impressive aromas of cassis, plum, cedar, blueberry and violet rise from the glass. The palate is dry, with tremendous structure, balance and body, with both ripe and tangy fruit flavours. Notes of blueberry, plum, and cedar take precedence but are complemented by an underlying minerality that adds even greater depth. The finish is lovely and long. Delicious. Very approachable now, this will also reward 3+ years in the cellar. My note: Delicious and stunning quality for the price! Fleshy blackberries with a terrific bite. Some tannins that can be smoothed out with 1-2 hours decanting or a couple years cellar time. Dark brooding fruit and smoke on the finish. What a bargain for classic Bordeaux. Food matches: grilled lamb.
