Tasting note:

Dark fleshy fruit with a chewy, savoury bite. Full-bodied and supple with layers of pleasure. Amazing price. Food matches: grilled steak, chicken.

Named for the mountain that dominates the skyline, Saronsberg has always been determined that their award-winning wines and their collection of contemporary South African art would offer as complete a sensuous impression of modern-day South Africa as possible. Here we have aromas of sweet black fruit, spice and coffee. Dry and medium-full bodied, crisp and round, with dark fruit, a sweet raspberry mid-palate, and a dry finish.
