Tasting note:

VC: After Primitivo, Negroamaro is the most important red variety in Puglia. Dark skinned – thus the name, which some say is derived from Latin (nigra) and Greek (mavro) for dark colour – and filled with rich, spicy aromas and flavours, Negroamaro is another excellent wine for that spring or summertime gathering around the barbecue. They also add 5% Malvasia Nera to this wine to fill out the flavours. My note: Blockbuster great wine especially for the price! It’s got it all: ripe dark fruit, mouth-watering acidity, generous layers and food versatility. Love it!
