Tasting note:

Vintages Wine Panel: Pouilly-Fuissé is the most recognized appellation in the Mâconnais. Producing only Chardonnay, the wines from the village of Vergisson – with their pronounced elegance – are considered exceptional. Look for apple, mineral, light pear and citrus aromas and flavors. Enjoy this medium full-bodied wine with grilled herbed chicken or white fish fried in butter. My note: An exquisite Chardonnay without too much oak and lots of mouth-watering acidity with ripe white peaches and green apples. Voluptuous texture. Food matches: roast chicken, lobster in butter sauce, corn dishes, beef bourguignonne.
