 | With the 2008 vintage, this Chianti Riserva is yet again a solid value. The nose is quite pretty and fairly intense with layered aromas of ripe red cherry, shoe polish, cedar, mocha, black raspberry, cigar box, vanilla bean and sandalwood. It’s dry, medium bodied with bright acidity and wiry tannins. There’s a decent amount of weight on the palate and good length to boot. Source: Vintages Wine Catalogue |
