Tasting note:

Crisp and clean with refreshing aromas of white melon, grapefruit and lime zest. Not herbal or grassy. Good acidity makes it mouth-watering: this wine cries out for food! Food matches: seared scallops, grilled prawns, pasta with lighter sauces, pizza, Indian dishes.

Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
REGION NOTES
The Pemberton wine region in Western Australia, almost 2,000 miles from Mudgee, provides the perfect growing conditions for our Sauvignon Blanc. The elevated cool, maritime climate of this region maintains the core freshness and zesty aromatics of this popular variety; arguably the home
of Sauvignon Blanc in Australia.

VINTAGE NOTES
Western Australia enjoyed a glorious 2009 vintage, especially in the south west where plentiful rain at the right time augmented ideal growing temperatures and an extended ripening period combined to produce some outstanding parcels of grapes.

WINEMAKING NOTES
Separate parcels were harvested at various maturity stages to produce a mix of interesting flavors. The early harvest captures the crisp zesty core of the wine whilst a slightly later harvest builds an element of tropical fruit flavors. The use of selected aromatic yeasts and cool fermentation temperatures have produced a vibrant and refreshing wine. Bottled under Stelvin Screwcap.

AWARDS:
San Francisco International Wine Competition - this Sauvignon Blanc was given a Bronze Medal. In the Ultimate Wine Compeition, this wine rated - VERY GOOD, STRONG RECOMMENDATION.
