Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
This was one of those wines that blows your socks off; from the first sip to the last drop, it was delicious. Starting with aromas of baked blueberry cobbler and vanilla cream, the taste buds wake up and can’t wait for the first sip. The flavors were out of this world — creamy and dark fruit, starting with a supple load of blackberries and jam-like dark fruit. This leads into a velvety tasting experience, as the dark fruit marries with a creamy vanilla bean oakiness. With every sip, I could not help but think how terrific this wine was for the price, delivering taste and complexity. The finish was rich, letting the vanilla and blueberry notes linger perfectly. It’s a terrific match for pork tenderloin or duck dishes. It has lots of “wow factor” that makes it taste like a more expensive pinot noir. Source: Lain Bradford, winetalk.org
