Tasting note:

Vintages Wine Panel: A classic old-school Rioja, featuring aromas of dried figs and dates, wood smoke, tar, cedar and fresh herbs. Dry, very supple, round and ready to drink. The years in wood and bottle before release have paid wonderful dividends. Decant it before serving to remove any sediment. You can sip and savor this mature Rioja on its own, reveling in its kaleidoscope of flavors. My note: Love this old style Rioja, with dried herbs, leather, cigar box and dried cherry fruit. Absolutely stunning for when you’re ready to enjoy a mature wine and all its glories. Food matches: beef, lamb.
