Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
The 2004 “RESERVA” (GLORIA) is a 50-50 blend of Tinta Roriz and Touriga Nacional. Smooth and suave, its nose is a bit oak dominated on opening, but that proceeds to integrate fairly well. This wine, unlike the Animus bottling, has some tannic grip on the finish, and should hold more gracefully. The muscle becomes more apparent with air. The mid-palate is modest, but the wine, like its younger sibling, has a certain bright, sunny, succulent finish. It can be approached now, but it will be better in 2009 or 2010. It will always be a bit on the lighter side, but always fun to drink, too. Drink now-2015. Score: 89 Source: Michael Schachner, Wine Enthusiast
