Ravine Vineyard Estate Winery Redcoat Merlot Cabernet Franc Cabernet Sauvignon 2010
Note: I publish batches of reviews that I call Good Values Wine Picks. These are from the regular section of the liquor store rather than the Vintages section, and tend to be lower priced and the most widely available of all wines. The last four reviews I did were: March 7, January 4, December 16 and November 20.

 | Carla rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:
I grew up in the sand and gravel business. In my teens I even drove a front end loader and filled dump trucks with granular from one of my dad's several gravel pits. When I saw this wine, I had to buy it. It was a gift to my brother for his birthday. We truly enjoyed it. It was a beautiful wine to sip and reminisce with. |

Final Words The 4th Redcoat vintage is the first of the 2010 reds to be released. This fabulous vintage allows for early drinkability and has some surprising integrated tannins. Redcoat is the perfect match for pizza, burgers on the BBQ, pasta with red sauce and firm cheeses. About Ravine Vineyard A 34 acre Estate farm whose origins date back to 1867 as a tender fruit farm.
