Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
It’s actually a California style Rhone blend: 80% syrah, then the remainder is grenache, mourvèdre and – very Cali – petit sirah. Rich ripe nose of plum fruit. Acidity and tannins high on palate, but the fruit is rich and fresh and it’s all smooth. Nice finish. Source: Alan McGinty, alanmcginty.com
