Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
The vibrant, crisp Ruby grapefruit from Lake County combines with the exotic citrus tones of Mandarin and Blood oranges from the Mendocino fruit. The resulting wine is complex yet elegant. The marriage of flavors is like a tropical fruit tart, with good acidity and fleshy citrus flavors, all over a layer of "creme patissiere." The combination of vineyards and appellations also brings out a wonderful mineral character typical of Sancerre from France. 80% tank fermented and 20% "neutral" barrel fermented, this wine maintains a great balance in both the nose and mouth between the crisp, exotic tropical citrus fruit (tank fermentation) and the creamy character of the barrel fermented wines. This is our favorite style of Sauvignon Blanc. You can sip it by itself or pair it with a myriad of lighter fare.

Serve this wine between 55-60 degrees Farenheit or 12-16 degrees Celsius. Tip: If your bottle is at room temperature, put it in ice water for about 30 minutes or in the fridge for about three hours to chill it.
