Tasting note:

Vintages Wine Panel: Conceivably, this Port is a good choice if you are looking to lay down something from your child’s birth year. In 2024, this one will just be hitting its stride. Right now, the wine exhibits aromas of plum, 70% cacao dark chocolate, anise, raisins and old leather. Sweet, very intense with good fruit surrounding forceful tannins. Medium full-bodied with a very long fruity/tannic finish. My note: Wonderful notes of blackberry jam, blackcurrant, anise and hickory smoke. A warm, satisfying finish. Food matches: coffee cake, chocolate chip cookies, pears in red wine, cheddar cheese.
