Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
 | Lyndsay Wells rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:
Woodsy, deep, with a lovely finish. I served this over the weekend with a pan seared New York Strip, Sherried Mushrooms, and Gruyere Whipped Potatoes. The combination of velvety plum and oak offset the rustic nature of the dishes making for a memorable evening! www.kitchenwitchmaven.com |
 | The 2009 Merlot grapes were handpicked in October from Quails’ Gate vineyards. Good heat throughout the growing season and cool October nights made 2009 a favourable year for Merlot. Spontaneous fermentation and extended skin contact give this wine complexity and its rich dark colour. Our Merlot is barrel aged for 18 months in French and American oak. |
