Note: I publish batches of reviews that I call Good Values Wine Picks. These are from the regular section of the liquor store rather than the Vintages section, and tend to be lower priced and the most widely available of all wines. Tasting note:

Bright cherry and raspberry aromas with a pleasingly mouth-watering juiciness. Some vanilla smoke with lovely elegance and balance. Food matches: slow-cooked herb-crusted lamb shank or mushroom risotto finished with white truffle oil and parmigiano reggiano.

Blended from 12 year old, well-attended Dijon clones 115 and 667, this wine is aged in gross lees of French oak for 10 months of which 60% are new and 40 % are 1 year old.
