Tasting note:

In northeastern Hungary, Muscat thrives in the hilly, volcanic-clay soils. It is a top area for grapes to become extremely ripe, resulting in flavourful, medium-sweetness wines such as this little beauty. An excellent choice. Another exotic little number with spices, orange peel and lovely, lovely white peach. Different and so very pretty. Food matches: chicken paprika, spicy Asian dishes.

The volcanic/clay soils and hills of north-eastern Hungary provide the ideal conditions for the creation of flavourful, ripe and floral semi-sweet wines. This example offers abundant notes of peach, apricot, and honeydew melon with a superb floral component. A dash of spice adds further depth to the already complex palate, with its strong Muscat and peach-juice flavours. Very well priced and delicious. Source: Vintages Wine Panel
