Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
Andrea Czarnecki rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

My first impressions came as soon as I uncorked the wine, as the aromatic tendencies of this wine came to life! Light and citrusy, with notes of fresh grapes and apricot, the wine had a crisp acidity and undertones of vanilla. Perfect about a half hour out of the fridge, and would be an awesome summertime sipper. Definitely a great match for turkey or ham at Easter, a guaranteed crowd pleaser.
Definitely one I will be keeping on hand.
Cortese, the great white wine grape of Piedmont, achieves its finest expression in the Gavi region. This one shows why. Aromas on display include spring flowers, apricot, candied lemon rind and pear. Dry and very fresh, with an abundance of fruit on the palate too. The finish is lively and enlivening. A great palate refresher. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, May 2012
