An unusual blend. Full body and complex. Pirramimma never failed me. Ready to drink now and in the next 2-4 years.
No, GTS does not stand for “great tasting stuff” (even though it is), but rather Grenache, Tannat and Shiraz. Complex, integrated bouquet, ample and intense, exhibiting candied peel, dried fruit and lead pencil all beautifully intertwined. Substantial tannic backbone gives a sinewy impression to the palate, but the supple density and gorgeous savoury flavours take centre stage. The finish is smooth, long and chocolaty and the wine impeccable. Score: Silver Medal Source: International Wine & Spirit Competition
