Tasting note:

Being an exceptionally food-friendly wine Pinot Blanc makes for a nice alternative to Chardonnay. From one of Alsace’s most formidable domains, this version displays subtle aromas of apple, sweet citrus, grapefruit, pear and mineral notes. It has good length, dry with medium weight, and has balanced acidity. You will find it quite refreshing. Pure white melon and grapefruit: refreshing and vibrant. Clean without oak. Great aperitif. Food matches: asparagus soufflé, cold pork roast, goat cheese, Indian cuisine, charcuterie, foie gras.

Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
Pierre Sparr is considered one of Alsace’s most formidable domaines. Here they deliver aromas of melon, spice, pear, apple, and white flowers. The palate demonstrates a superbly balanced integration of all elements, and is quite juicy and flavourful with intense fruit replays. Very pleasant and a great value, this Pinot Blanc will make for a nice alternative to Chardonnay. Source: Vintages Wine Panel
