Persuasion is sold in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba at select liquor retailers and through the agency Fluid Imports 403-873-1615, fluidimports@shaw.ca. In Ontario, order Persuasion through carley@bilah.ca. The wine is made by Thomas George Estates in the Russian River region of California.

Tasting note by Jennifer Huether, Master Sommelier, Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Ltd:

Appearance: Dark purple core with violet rim.

Nose: Clean and upfront. Dark concentrated black currants, mulberry, white pepper, cocoa, licorice, black earth, black plum, and vanilla spice coming from supple oak treatment.

Palate: Dry and full bodied, medium plus acidity, licorice laced with violets, ripe black currants, black plums, cocoa, vanilla, silky and velvety texture with a dusty minerality on the finish. Solid and concentrated with dense but plush tannins and enough freshness to carry this bold wine
