Tasting note:

Vintages Wine Panel: Vinsobres was elevated from one of the 16 named villages in the AC Côtes du Rhône-Villages, to cru status in 2006. Look for cherry, raspberry and violet notes here. Dry and beautifully structured with great depth of fruit that carries right through to the end of the medium-long finish. Delicious. My note: Thick, dark and delicious! A hulking, big wine with black fruit, and chewy meaty flavours. You almost need a fork for this wine. Nice, long finish. Terrific price. Food matches: duck breast.
