Vintages Wine Panel: Here’s the perfect wine to combat the winter blahs. Gloriously aromatic, this light, elegant, and off-dry frizzante makes a delicious aperitif. Bursting with floral, melon and grapey characteristics, its touch of sweetness is perfectly balanced by a light effervescence and a lovely seam of fresh acidity. My note: This is one of the most underrated sparkling wines of the world. You must try if you haven’t yet. Gorgeous notes of orange blossom, pear, peach and honeysuckle. It’s only lightly sparkling with a touch of sweetness so it’s an excellent aperitif. Food matches: fruit flan, cobbler, biscotti, baked peaches, almonds.

Serve this wine between 45-50 degrees Farenheit or 6-10 degrees Celsius. Tip: If your bottle is at room temperature, put it in ice water for about 30 minutes or in the fridge for about three hours to chill it.
