Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
 | Calvados (apple brandy) is the classic drink of Normandy. Over 200 different varieties of apples, many completely unique to the region, are permitted in its production. Many producers use as many as 100 different varieties in pursuit of the flavour profile they prefer. It is not overstating things to say that though apple brandy is made elsewhere in the world none taste quite like Normandy’s. Classically enjoyed as a digestif after a big meal, it is also exceptional as a contemplation libation from a snifter, just as you’d enjoy a cognac. Source: Vintages Wine Panel |
