Partly barrel (new French oak) and partly stainless steel fermented. No Malolatic fermentation. Kept on the lees for 4 months. Aromas of lush tropical and fresh stone fruits, a hint of Okanagan sage with a subtle minerality. On the palette a blast of ripe citrus, pink grapefruit, melon and apple followed by subtle vanilla, and toast in the background. A big, round peach and honey mouthfeel with well balanced bright acidity leads into a long clean, fresh fruit finish. Harvested Between 29th September and 10th October, 2009. 26 Brix level. 13.8% alcohol Residual sugar 2.3 g/L Titratable Acidity 7.5 g/L PH 3.45
