The last four reviews I did were: March 7, January 4, December 16 and November 20.

Tasting note:

Big, black bruiser with fleshy dark fruit and smoky oak. Needs time, but will be magnificent when mature. Aged in 100% new French oak for 18 months. Smokin! Food matches: red meats, flavorful and hearty (red) pastas, lamb, strong-flavored cheese, dark chocolate.

Aromas of cassis, black cherry, cigar box and tobacco leaf precede very ripe dark fruit, leather and coffee bean. The mid palette is intense,dark and yet elegant. Acids are very much in balance and fine velvety tannins coat the entire mouth leading to a long rich, dark cherry and chocolate finish
