This Sicilian red is crafted from indigenous grapes (Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Mantellato) grown on the slopes of Mount Etna, one of the world's most active volcanoes! It's rather fitting that this area is generating seriously hot buzz in winemaking circles. This example features smoky aromas of coffee, leather and prunes. Zesty fruit flavours of raspberries, strawberries, and blackberries intermingle with notes of cloves and black pepper, en route to a satisfying finish.
