Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
Tokubetsu Honjozo on the label means either the rice was more highly polished (in this case 60% was removed) to expose the best part of the grain’s core, or a special type of rice was used (here, Gohyaku-mangoku and Mutsuhomare rices). Fascinating aromas of marzipan, licorice, coconut water and floral. Off-dry, bright, vivacious and flavourful. There’s a candied sweetness here followed by a rush of balancing acids.
