Tasting note:

Vintages Wine Panel: Monte da Cal is proudly Portuguese. When they use international varieties, their wines have a uniquely Portuguese twist. This blend of Syrah with the local Trincadeira and Alicante Bouschet is rich, ripe and full bodied with a nice seam of acidity. My note: Very pleasant and full-bodied with black cherry and plum and smoky-mocha aromas. Velvet texture and a finish that will keep you warm and glowing all night. Food matches: braised beef, grilled steak.
