Note: I publish batches of reviews that I call Good Values Wine Picks. These are from the regular section of the liquor store rather than the Vintages section, and tend to be lower priced and the most widely available of all wines. Tasting note:

Rich, round and full-bodied with lovely aromas of green apples, almond and vanilla smoke. To die for with lobster in butter or roast chicken.

Perpetua continues to show great restraint with regards to oak, opting for a fresh,mineral laden, food friendly style. The nose shows notes of honeysuckle and lemon-lime along with hints of fennel, hazelnut and a subtle suggestion of vanilla bean. The palate is crisp and lively with yellow apple, lime, jasimine and a faint note of praline and oak spice on the finish. A clean, pure reflection of our top Chardonnay vineyard in Osoyoos.

Serve this wine between 55-60 degrees Farenheit or 12-16 degrees Celsius. Tip: If your bottle is at room temperature, put it in ice water for about 30 minutes or in the fridge for about three hours to chill it.
