Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
 | Jason Solanki rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:
Citrus, apple and pear aromas from the cork. Toasty apple, buttered popcorn and pear aromas from the glass. On the palate, the bright acidity jumps at you, followed by layers of apple, pear, and spice. Medium-full bodied with a long finish. Extra dry. Moved up 1 whole point (to 89pts) on the 2nd day as acidity calmed down. Will be enjoying this tonight with chicken biryani. Tasted Aug/2012. |
 | Holly Bruns rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:
A full Chardonnay with some buttery, butterscotch notes, pear, and warm spices balaced by some lemon and a hint of fresh herbs; creamy on the palate finishing with that butterscotch lingering for a while. If you like a ripe Chardonnay, this is nicely balanced saving a bit of an alcohol prickle at the end. |
 | Medium gold in colour with layered aromas of smoke, buttered popcorn, green apple, ripe pear and cinnamon. It’s dry with a medium-full body that subtly conveys some oomph, while the bright acidity keeps it balanced and graceful. The flavours echo the nose with complex notions of ripe orchard fruit, smoke, spice and a long toasty finish. Source: Vintages Wine Panel |
