Absolute wow for this price! Juicy purple plums and flashy dark berries … just roll with it. Smooth and generous. This wine is as comfortable and immediately likeable as your favourite pair of jeans.

MAN Vintners is one of my favourite producers for quality of wine that far outstrips the price tag. This brand was initially begun as a fun project by Jose Conde and two friends who decided to create wines that they would love to buy. Why MAN Vintner? The range is named after Marie, Annette and Nicky, wives of the team who had to give up weekends in support of the new project.
MAN Vintner is now a huge player on the South African wine scene.
This easy-drinking Shiraz has soft tannins with plum and spice flavours.I like to drink it on it's own or with a slow cooked meat casserole.
Tangy blueberry abundance with cocoa bite. 09 full & rich, dollop viognier adds light violet lift. Score: 3½ (out of 5) Source: Fiona McDonald, Platter's South African Wine Guide
