Note: I publish batches of reviews that I call Good Values Wine Picks. These are from the regular section of the liquor store rather than the Vintages section, and tend to be lower priced and the most widely available of all wines. The last four reviews I did were: March 7, January 4, December 16 and November 20.

Tasting note:

A terrific blend of Tempranillo, Graciano and Garnache Noir grapes in this elegant, full-bodied red that offers black cherry aromas. Aged in French barrels which gives it a vanilla-toast finish.

Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
Dan Trcka rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

The 2005 Maetierra Dominum Quatro Pagos Reserva is a medium bodied, integrated wine, with nice aromas of cherry, blackberry, vanilla and sandalwood. Tannins are refined (decant for 30 min) and the finish is long and smooth. Drink now or cellar for the next 10 years. My impression: BEAUTIFUL, 91 pts - highly recommended - excellent wine for very good price. Tasted Feb/12.
Intense garnet–dark cherry red colour of great depth. Intense and complex
aroma, very candid, with the toasted, spiced and smoked notes of the French
oak coming to the fore, blending perfectly with the black fruit, chocolate and
balsamic notes. In the mouth the attack is gentle, but the wine immediately
reveals itself to be full-bodied and meaty, with mature tannins and excellent
acidity. It is long and persistent, with the smoked and spicy notes, as well as
the ripe fruit reappearing in the aftertaste. Mineral finish.
