Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
Gopinath rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Had this at redwater rustic grille in october. Very tasty malbec and entire table of 20 settled on this. Tried reserva 2008 at home and it was a bit sharp.
Holly Bruns rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

A complex nose of earth, sour cherry, tobacco, vanilla, smoke, dried herbs is followed by a juicy, fruity quality on the palate; a bit on the light side for a Malbec, but nicely balanced and would make a great food wine.
Amrita Roy reviewed this wine as follows:

Palate - medium bodied and very smooth, notes of dark fruits, cedar, some sort of a chocolatey finish. Would buy again.
Full, deep red. Red plum, redcurrant, graphite, mocha, cocoa powder, mint and nutty oak on the inviting nose and palate. Suave, pliant and sexy, with a captivating suggestion of white fruits in the mouth. A silky, gently extracted malbec in a rather Old World style. Finishes with supple tannins and sneaky persistence. I like this. Score: 90 Source: Stephen Tanzer, International Wine Cellar
