Tasting note:

So pretty! Rose petals and highly aromatic violets swaying under a summer sun. Medium- to slightly full-bodied but so packed with flavour. Get out of your red wine rut with this wine. Great companion to many dishes. Food matches: grilled meats, stews, oriental dishes.

On the palate it’s bright, with fairly rich berry fruit supported by lively acidity and tannins that are a little brisker than some, laying down a warm berry fruit burr and flowing into a fairly long warm finish. Pleasant and approachable, by comparison with some of the other Ruché wines it is more of a food wine and will work well with spiced – not sweet – grilled meats or stews.
