Tasting note:

Vintages Wine Panel: Fresh and fruity, this easygoing Beaujolais shows off both the charms of the region and the Gamay grape. The nose is straight-forward and pleasing with aromas of bright cherry, wild berry, violets and a hint of banana. It’s dry, light bodied and soft textured (i.e., quaffable) with fresh red berry fruit flavours and a hint of cracked pepper leading to a surprisingly long, crisp finish. Give it a slight chill to bring out the fresh fruit character. My note: A light, carefree wine with classic notes of field strawberries and raspberries. Not furry tannins here: smooth as silk and light as air. Don’t think, just drink. Food matches: Gruyère-cheese soufflé, Hawaiian pizza.
