Tasting note:

Owing to the moderating ocean breezes off the Pacific that travel up the Salinas Valley, Pinot Noir has turned out to be one of the best-performing grapes in Monterey County. The Loredona (lady flower) shows classic Pinot Noir aromas of cherry, cedar, plum and earth. A fine choice. A beguiling and silky pinot with lovely layers of ripe cherries and some cinnamon. Medium- to full-bodied. Food matches: grilled duck. veal tenderloin.

Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
Pinot Noir has established itself as one of Monterey’s top performers. The Loredona, or “lady flower,” delivers a full-fruited nose rich in cherry, raspberry, earth and dried spices. The palate is dry, balanced and quite lively with more suggestions of raspberry, cherry, cranberry, earth and spice. This is an elegant wine, with soft tannins and a medium-long finish.
