Note: I publish batches of reviews that I call Good Values Wine Picks. These are from the regular section of the liquor store rather than the Vintages section, and tend to be lower priced and the most widely available of all wines. The last four reviews I did were: May 22, March 7, January 4 and December 16.

Tasting note:

This terrific Cabernet, so well-structured and tasty, and an excellent value. Aromas of black cherries and blackberries waft from the glass with an undertone of dark spices. A robust, concentrated and richly layered wine selected in honour of all those university and college graduates who will soon be at liberty from their schools. Food matches: grilled steak, hamburgers, meat lovers' pizza.

Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
Bobbi Jo rated this wine as 90/100
Dan Trcka rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

The 2010 Liberty School Cabernet Sauvignon (a vintage without a release, yet not in an essential section and often on sale) has attractive notes of blackberry, prune, coconut and vanilla. It is full bodied, fruity, on the acidic side, with subtle to refined tannins (decant for 30-60 min) and a medium to long and smooth finish. Drink with heavy foods; drink now or cellar for 5+ more years. My impression: NICE, 89 pts. Tasted March/13.
