Tasting note:

Terrific for the money! Full-bodied with black cherry liqueur aromas running through its black heart. Smooth and savoury. Great meat wine.

If you like the LCBO general list Castillo de Monseran Garnacha then you will like this Minervois. I personally don't like either wine. Too grapy, flabby and dull for me. I like my Grenache blended more like they do further West of the Midi. HOWEVER - this is an update as we had the wine the next day, served it colder, and it was much better.
Firm nose of red fruit pastilles. A charming and drinkable, light, aromatic style with fine supporting tannins. Good flavoursome stuff with freshness and character. Nice substantial wine. Score: 4 (out of 5) Source: Decanter
