Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
Lento relies predominantly on local grape varieties. Their Lamezia Riserva, for instance, is comprised of Magliocco, Nerello and Greco Nero. This lovely wine is matured in stainless steel for 2 years, then spends a total of 12 months in French barriques as well as 6 months in bottle. As a result, it displays aromas of cranberry and dried cherry, tobacco and earth. Medium bodied with a silky texture, this traditionally styled wine would pair well with a host of classic Italian dishes. They’ve done all the ageing for you, so it is ready to drink.
