Vin Doux Naturel is a sweet wine made by arresting the fermentation process by adding neutral grape spirit. Those from Rasteau contain at least 90% Grenache. A lovely little Vin Doux at a great price. Bursting with sweet strawberry and raspberry pie aromas which replay nicely on the palate. Unctuous and rich, with tangy acidity giving fine balance. Very tasty now, this will only become more intriguing with 5+ years of cellar time. Source: Vintages Wine Catalogue.
