This wine was awarded a Gold Medal at the 2011 Concours Général Agricole in Paris. A solid wine at a great price, the 2010 features notes of chocolate, mixed berries, tar, earth and peppery spice. It’s medium bodied with the fruit and spice aromas echoing on the palate. The frame is solid with plenty of tannic grip so you can match it with roasted or grilled meats. Good length to boot.
