Wonderful notes of vanilla, cream, peach, pear, toffee and honeycomb on the nose. The palate is sweet, balanced and deliciously highlighted by excellent fruit, and consistent replays of the nose all driven by a backbone of bright, racy acidity. Superb length. A tremendous value. Foie gras is the classic pairing for Sauternes, but such is this wine’s complexity and depth that it will also work with a wide variety of savoury dishes. Source: Vintages Wine Panel
