Tasting note:

A full-bodied, supple and creamy-textured wine with expressive aromas of ripe pears, peaches, apples, fig and hazelnut. Deep minerality and structure with an excellent framework provided by the well-integrated oak. A long finish. Another stellar performance from this producer. Food matches: chicken with creamy sauce, duck a l'orange, challah, emmenthal, brie cheese, French baguette.

Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
Darlene Myers rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Oh, didn't I love this wine. I read somewhere that 2006 was a hot and humid summer and that the vines profited from this. I found this Chardonnay to be full bodied with flavours of melon and honey. Aged in both new and old oak, it finished with a buttery smoothness that pairs with cream sauces like a hand in a glove.

Serve this wine between 55-60 degrees Farenheit or 12-16 degrees Celsius. Tip: If your bottle is at room temperature, put it in ice water for about 30 minutes or in the fridge for about three hours to chill it.
